How to choose the right kayak

Each person is different so it's no surprise that there are many different kayak models out there. We have ten different models available so we can find one that fits you just great!

But how will you know which kayak is right for you and which kayak to book? Read our guide below and find out which kayak is best for you!


Double Kayaks

Esperanto (Boreal Design)

The Esperanto kayak is a stable double kayak that is ideal for friends and couples.
It comes with a rudder which can be steered by the person sitting in the back with help of two foot pedals. It is great for day or multi day touring and has enough storage space for camping gear and supplies for two people.
There is an additional storage compartment in the middle which is accessible from above and even from the stern cockpit. The middle compartment can be used for luggage, but it is even possible to use it for an extra space for a young child.


Tandem Maxi (Tahe Marine)

The Tandem Maxi is a seaworthy double kayak that fits families, couples, friends and even dog owners. Thanks to its large middle compartment it can either take luggage for a week or two, a child up to 6 years or a dog!


Single Kayaks - Beginner

Epsilon T200 (Boreal Design)

The Epsilon T200 is one of our most versatile kayaks. It fits people from 1.60m up to 1.90m who weigh between 64kg and 102kg. Its large cockpit makes getting in and out of the kayak easy - even for taller people. The kayak is stable and can handle stronger winds and higher waves. Thanks to the Flex-Seat, you are able to raise and lower the front of the seat base for extra support under your thighs and raise and lower the seat back for comfort using only one hand. The Epsilon T200 has a rudder. It is made from thermoformed ABS and only weighs 26kg.


Epsilon 100 (Boreal Design)

The Epsilon 100 is ideal for our youngest paddlers as the minimum weight of a paddler lies at only 41kg but it also fits adult beginner paddlers who are smaller and lightweight (max. 73kg). Thanks to the Flex-Seat, you are able to raise and lower the front of the seat base for extra support under your thighs and raise and lower the seat back for comfort using only one hand. The Epsilon 100 is made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and has a rudder.


Epsilon 200 (Boreal Design)

The Epsilon 200 is ideal for beginner paddlers between 1.60m and 1.85m who weigh between 64kg and 102kg. It is made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)and has a rudder. Thanks to the Flex-Seat, you are able to raise and lower the front of the seat base for extra support under your thighs and raise and lower the seat back for comfort using only one hand.


Epsilon 300 (Boreal Design)

The Epsilon 300 is ideal for beginner paddlers between 1.80m and 1.90m who weigh between 91kg and 136kg. It is made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)and has a rudder. Thanks to the Flex-Seat, you are able to raise and lower the front of the seat base for extra support under your thighs and raise and lower the seat back for comfort using only one hand.


Reval HV PE (Tahe Marine)

The Reval HV PE is ideal for taller beginner paddlers up to 1.95m. It is stable and has a retractable skeg as well as a rudder. It has a large cockpit which makes it easy for taller paddlers to come in and out of the kayak.


Single Kayak - Advanced

Tempest 170 (Wilderness Systems)

The Tempest 170 is a great kayak for an advanced paddler up to 1.90m. Since it is a relatively slim kayak, medium sized paddlers fit best. It comes with a comfortable seat with an adjustable seat base and seat back and a retractable skeg. The kayak is made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene).


Mission X2 (Vajda Kayaks)

The Mission X2 is a fast touring kayak for advanced paddlers. It is made from thermoformed ABS and fits paddlers up to 1.90m. It has a rudder and only weighs 23kg.

Seadog (Point 65)

The Seadog is a Sit On Top kayak. If you are looking for a kayak to rent for just an hour or two to try paddling alone or with a young child, this is your kayak. Paddle in the safety of our bay and give kayaking a try!
